The Art of the Mind
Faith.

And that's what it all comes down to, y'know?...When you've got nothing else to believe in and hold on to....Or even when you have what ever else you need...Faith is still the bottom line...

Its a part of our lives so much that we don't even seem to realize its there...

A gift and a curse.

As life passes us by, we've become so accustomed to it's automatic nature in certain instances, that when we need to apply an extra effort, or just focus on our faith more...it would only seem unnatural...We "know" we're waking up tomorrow...We "know" we're going to have a safe car ride...We "know" we're gonna die old...

Misconceptions.

In our state of forgetfulness, our act of taking certain things for granted...We gotta make sure to embrace that which is not guaranteed...Everything...Be it the pair of shoes on our feet, or even the friend that we only speak to every now and then...Because for one reason or another, they were placed in our lives for a purpose...And in that same Greater Complexity, we gotta realize that things will happen just as easily as things that already have happened...Whether we understand it or not...Faith is where it's at...Hebrews 11:1 says that all it really is is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things that aren't seen...

Trust.

Thats another way to say it...Trust in the unknown...A blind man can go about his business mid-day in the heart of Manhatten all by himself...Why?...Because he has faith...he needs faith...in order to get by...From crossing the street, to handling money...He has faith that he will succeed and attain whatever goals and taks he has set forth...And they're called handicapped, hmph...

Faith and Trust is where it's at...Belief in the unknown...There's no need to call it "blind faith" because that's what it's based on...the unseen...Through hard times...Through good times...When you "know" what's gonna happen and how situations will turn their back to you...Have faith, because you made it this far with some amount or another, imagine how far you can go when you try...
