There are approximately 1,000 students enrolled at
Westbury High School during any given school year...That's about 250 students per class...Also keep in mind that this facility has been up and running since 1956....Multiply the amount of students per class during any given year by the number of years that the school has been in operation and you are left with 47,000 student records left in storage...Of course this is under the assumption that they have been with this school district all their lives...There are also transfer into and out of the district as well....Let's round it to an even 50,000 for simplicity's sake...
All this to say, that I have been assigned a new project at work....Those approx. 50,000 records are "orginized" alphabetically...For some strange reason, it has be requested now that I take down each and every one of those records and re-box them in chronological order by date of birth...
All for the sake of a simple paycheck...I swear, they're just LOOKING for stuff for me to do...::sigh::....
