My friends....The Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Calven Klein, looking people are the minorty of the world...believe it or not....So how then are the MAJORITY of us brainwashed into thinking that we must nearly KILL ourselves to "Look Good"....I mean really....It's getting ridiculous....Then what makes it worse, is the plastic surgeons who do these things....not so much as the fact that they actually do this...Cuz from their point of view...they're making good money since DEMAND is so daggum high....But wut makes them worse, is that they seel the surgery like tehy're selling a car....I was watchiing the MTV special on this....and one surgeon was telling the girl that she'd look gorgeous if she took some of the fat off her hips....Now, girl had a very nice figure....But if you break it down...You'll see the technique this guys used....
Now...She is AT the surgeon's office....So she obviously is feeling sumwhat vulnerable about her present physical appearence....So thats where he'll hit her....Even though she's very pretty....he sez that she'd look gorgeous IF she taks this fat off....IF...thats a condistional statement...therefore....No liposuction means no gorgeous....OBVISOUSLY she's gonna want to do that now since HE's an expert at it....PLUS he's an attractive dude....so she's REALLY gonna listen to waht he sez.....It's RIDICULOUS.....
(By the way....I'm watching this show now, and some viewer won a dream date with two girls....He's being interviewd...and teh interviewer says "You're the luckiest man in the world with TWO blondes"....Am I the only one who frowns on that?....The Blonde-Girl Ideal?)
And so do I end this missive to you, as I wax increasingly tired.....My Friends....This illusion that there is only one formula to beauty is a LIE....This idea that ALL men are looking for the same criteria and that ALL women are looking for the same criteria in a mate is a LIE....And the concept of the Ideal Beauty being blonde hair, blue-eyed, curvy, and slim is, once again, a LIE....I tell you....whoever said BEAUTY is only skin deep is wrong...Beauty is WAY deeper than the skin.....IT's past the skin....It depends on the person within...It depends on how one thinks, acts, and jsut carries themselves....THAT is what BEAUTY is....Ther is no otehr way around it....SURE sumone may look pretty daggum good.....But what if Hitler looked like Tyson Beckford?....Then what?....Lemme know.....
I mean.....if you prefer one type different from the otehr.....than thats kool....thats your preference....but it is no better than another person's...Me personally, I like brown skin...light and dark, but preferably darker...and a little thick (This sounds like a plug for a certain someone i know...)and tahts my preference....But that doesn't make it any better than anyone else's...All i'm sayin is that don't get caught up in the "o my gosh, I don't look ANYTHING like that girl on this months Cosmo"....
