The Art of the Mind
Last night while converesing with Kika....we came upon the topic of women in the media and their depiction to the world i general...Wes poke about how they are degraded by men...And at times, they even degrade themselves....All for the love of attention....They have been infected with a cousin of the Popularity desease, known as the "Shine Virus"...

You see, they have been given time to show themselves to others...to feel like they mean something...and they actually do....but not in the way they think....

Just because some guy wants them 2 "Drop it like it's hot" does not exactly mean that the girl(without their body) themselves are much on top of his list of things to care for....

Notice I put emphasis on "things"....Too many times are women treated as things...Kika put it well when she mentioned that women are the one's responsible for bringing forth life into this world, only to be treated as if they are the carriers of death....Women are far more than just things my friends....Women, in my opinion, are the most amazing beings on the face of this earth....There is none other than a female who can make ANYTHING she dawns look appealing, who are so POWERFUL in relation to men, their opinions, and just anything they touch...yet still are able to carry that finesse and sleak, sexy, intrigue about them....But, it seems that many of my brethren feel otherwise....

As a matter of fact, I see that many of them SHUN these truly beautiful people who they have infected with "Shine"...Because the girl is showing her body, prostituting her breasts and prosterior, she's no more desireable anymore, treated as a dog (wouldn't they then consider her a FEMALE dog?...hmmmmm), and expected to just turn tricks all day....

I know I've been rambling, I'm in class at the moment, so please excuse the lack of my usual wit and metaphors.....but as I must depart from this console right now, allow me to paint a picture...If you have a rose, and it pricks your fingers, do you throw it out, or do you take out the thorns?...Normally you'd respond that you'll take out the thorns.....So why then, when a beautiful woman comes along, with a dark and hurtful past, would anyone just throw her away instead of simply moving on and disposing the thought of her history?
