The Art of the Mind
He looked phenomenalAs he stood, staring at the reflection in the small mirror he held before him, he admired the image he saw. In insurmountable adoration, he gazed at the Adonis-like body that has become his own. He took notice to the very sharp, defined edge of his jawsThe stare that the deep pools of his eyes gave, forcing anyone who bathed in them to drown in their demand of attentionHe began to admire the raven-black locks that clothed his scalpEven his rigid, mahogany neck that supported his head appeared as if it could be mistaken for that of HerculesFrom the ground up, the story was just the sameHis eyes were arrogantly delighted as they viewed the mighty ebony pillars that were his legs, and his chest and abdomen which were as intricately defined as diamond, and yet incredibly hard just the sameSuddenly, just as he shifted to examine his massive hands, gravity played a cruel trick and pulled the looking-glass straight from his hand, sending it hurtling down to the ground to crack within its frameAs he picked it up, he couldnt help but to look in disgust as the previously beautiful likeness it once cast was now a disfigured imageFor the first time since this Prince of Narcissism purchased the seemingly innocent piece of glassware, it had silently spoken with honesty, unveiling his true appearanceKnowing within himself that this grotesque manifestation held no similitude to his true appearance, he became displeased and quickly placed the mirror in the trash, unhappy with the image to which he had been introduced.

Poor mirrorIts sad how the innocent are punished for simply speaking the truth...
